Alpha is the first word in newage stores
The Alpha Book Center was founded in 1967, by noted theologian and new age spokesman, Rev. Dr. John Rodgers (lower left) , who spends time at the store, evenings and Saturdays. Lovely store manager Joy Rodgers (second from left), and her friendly assistants Susan MacKay (second from right) and Carlos Nandin (lower right) are always happy to help anyone on their spiritual path. Just wander in, pick up a free issue of the Omega Directory and check out the place. You are sure to find something that'll do the trick and a whole lot more, from bibles to candles to jewelry and of course, black cat bones.
